Why I Won’t (can’t) Support Obama
I am not a fan of Obama. Oh, I’m sure he probably means well, but I don’t think he has the real-world experience to make good decisions. In many ways his speeches remind me of the Hippies from the 1960’s. Idealistic, but not practical. Idealism is certainly important, but it must also be realistic and practical.
Obama recently told a crowd that he wasn’t going to raise taxes, but that isn’t true. First he will repeal the lower tax rates brought about by President Bush, and that means our taxes will go up. In addition he wants to spend $50 Billion, ($50,000,000,000), to eliminate world poverty. Or to put it another way, give $50 Billion to third wold countries whose leaders will keep the money and not give it to their poor. Hey, what about OUR POOR? (No, they don”t get any of it.) To read more about Obama’s tax plan go here.
And may I add that he wants to increase the amount of money we give the UN every year.
On national defense he is even scarier. To protect our nation he has said that he will get rid of all our nuclear weapons and reduce spending on weapon systems … (you know, things like tanks, planes, war ships, and guns). With our reduced power other nations won’t see us as a threat and won’t want to attack us. (He doesn’t understand that the weaker you are, the more likely a bully will pick on you.)
I guess my objectons to Obama all boils down to one simple concept — Obama doesn’t seem to realy understand how the world works.
And that’s my 2 cents.

Well then you are basing at least part of your decision on a lie. It is not an Obama quote, just more lies as usual: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/change.asp It is a shame people can be deceived so easily. You should understand how internet rumors work before judging if someone understands how this entire planet works…
