Obama the Vindictive

Posted on October 31, 2008. Filed under: Government, Political Science, Politics | Tags: , , , , |

After “Joe the plumber” had his chance encounter with Senator Obama and criticized the “spread the wealth” concept, Joe was investigated, ridiculed, harassed, and berated by the press and the Obama campaign.

Last week Biden gave an interview to an Orlando television news anchor who asked some tough questions, including how the Obama people were responding to [...]

How Accurate Are Polls?

Posted on October 29, 2008. Filed under: Politics | Tags: , , |

During political campaigns people are constantly taking and reporting on polls, but are they accurate?

The other day I had the pleasure of attending an educational seminar put on by suppliers in the advertising specialty industry.  Three companies, each with roughly a 30 minute presentation.
The first gentleman was pleasant enough, talked about products that were “hot” and gave some selling tips.  Fairly typical presentation.
The second was a young lady, (whose [...]

Are you involved in these on-line discussion groups?  You can find a discussion group on just about any topic you want, Health, Business, Networking, and thousands more.
But are they useful?
I am a member of two discussion groups; the one on marketing is pretty much dead.  When I first joined the group some years back it [...]
